We have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes. We did an experiment to find out more about what happens when the acid in the vinegar reacts with sodium bicarbonate.
We made up our own dances and dramatic performances:
We tested a range of solids to see if they would dissolve in water to form a solution or if they were insoluble and left a sediment:
We followed a set of instructions to make our own plasticine pottery, inspired by Anglo-Saxon methods.
We used maps of Europe to plot the route the Anglo-Saxons would have taken to invade Britain.
Welcome to our new school year! We have already made a great start to our new year with a Singapore Maths lesson, using place value discs to make numbers to 100 000
Have a wonderful Summer, year 5! Good luck in Year 6, love from Miss Morgan and Mrs Connell xxx
Last Wednesday, we went on a very exciting trip to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition in the World Museum. We enjoyed an ice-cream afterwards! In the afternoon, we went to see a production of The Greatest Story Ever Told.
