Class trip: Terracotta Warriors and The Greatest Story Ever Told

Last Wednesday, we went on a very exciting trip to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition in the World Museum. We enjoyed an ice-cream afterwards! In the afternoon, we went to see a production of The Greatest Story Ever Told.

Mayans: Love food, hate waste

We explored how we know what the Maya ate and how they stored food.

Today we focused on plant food – how we preserve food, how we know it is safe to eat and all about food waste.

We played a game of Date Detectives! We identified how the food is preserved and the type of date on he food.
